Ground Incident for an aircraft that aborted takeoff after smelling a strong burning odor. Passengers and crew of the aircraft were evacuating onto the runway as airport firefighters arrived on scene. Firefighters immediately began to investigate the cause of the odor, while disabling power to the aircraft and checking for hot brakes. After an extensive search, the odor dissipated and no apparent cause was found. The aircraft was turned over to maintenance and towed from the runway.2/23/10
