Local 1636 will once again endorse Paul Dondorfer
The Members of IAFF Local 1636 have once again chosen to support and endorse Paul Dondorfer for Monroe County Legislative District 9. Paul has proven his commitment to the citizens of Monroe County and the Greater Rochester area over the course of the last two years as a Monroe County Legislator. Paul was instrumental in passing bi-partisan legislation to provide the Rochester Airport Firefighters with a utility vehicle to enhance our operational readiness and serve the greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region more efficiently.
As a police officer, Paul understands the importance of continuity of public safety, something we believe our community is in dire need of at this time. This is also something we consider every time we arrive for a shift.
We approach political endorsements with careful attention and we understand the weight an endorsement carries, but so does the importance of the safety of our members, the community and the flying public. We look forward to continuing our constructive and positive relationship with Paul and the Monroe County Legislature.
